It works great at replenishing when you are sick. We even give it to my daughter when she is sick. Obviously, it is not going to do miracles by itself, but in conjunction with other things... like 3 jamba coldbusters. 
I can't stand gatoraide usually, so this is awesome because it just tastes like regular water.
