Has anyone played The Walking Dead video game developed by Telltale Games? It has nothing to do with the story line of the hit TV Show, but IMO is one of the best games I ever played.

Although it's not a run and gun type of game, it's more of a point and click 3rd person adventure game. With a lot of cinematic camera angles your basically just altering and playing a movie. It's great, it won the 2012 game of the year award over Assassins Creed 3 and other popular releases.

Just wanted to share this and see if anyone else has played or finished this game. Would be nice to discuss what choices did you choose to alter the story and why. As well as opinions on the game and all of that other good stuff!

The ending was shocking I was pretty sad because of the ending, as well as upset that such a great game had to come to a end. Really good game I do recommend it for anyone who loves The Walking Dead (show) because you as well are put through tough decisions that affect your group.

 

I've played it. It's pretty good, but I won't go as far as saying it's one of the best games I have ever played. It's kind of like an interactive animated series in a "choose your own adventure" sort of way. You're kinda just along for the ride. I bought it when it was on sale through Steam.

For me it was, i'm a FPS guy and usually extremely impatient with games like this but the story was so good I just had to keep playing. Yeah I bought it through Steam too. Kept thinking it would take forever for each individual episode to release. Did you finish it?

Actually Hershel's character is in the story too but not identical to the show character still owns a farm etc.

 

its alright.. still loving the left 4 dead series.

 

I love L4D too but they are both completely different games.

 

purchased it after playing the demo, but it's been sitting on my console untouched haha. Been too busy getting back in to and enjoying gran turismo 5 again.

 

Well you know what to do when you have free time!

 

I did finish it. It's hard to stop playing once you've started.

 

How did you like the overall story? Did you find the ending predictable or shocking?

 

I didn't think it was either actually. It was right in the middle. Good though.
