My first car was a '92 240GL. It took about 10 miles for me to get it to 90. Those cars are tanks. and soooo much fun. I hit 100 once in the 2 years I had it.

 

So street racing is bad UNLESS its in a car with an awesome motor swap?? you guys are ****ing idiots.... you all flamed Ed for road tuning @ 80mph but some guy with an TT LS1 in a goddamn volvo (dangerous as hell) is ripping around on the street at 130mph and all the sudden thats "awesome!!$@"

I haven't watched the above video but does it show someone that uses the street as part of his bidness model? Or is it showing someone doing something that might get the public/cops in my area mad/annoyed/scurred enough to crack down on activities or hobbies that I enjoy?

In the end I really only care about myself.

You can try to justify the double standard any way you want but the fact is that there is in fact a double standard... i bet if i posted a vid of me sliding sideways all up the street in my mustang i would get flamed for being a dangerous idiot but if its some neat project car it makes it ok??

i hate hypocrisy more than damn near anything & the hipocrisy that goes on around here amazes the hell out of me.

personally i have gone 170+ on public roads and i could care less what people do as long as its not in traffic, school zone, residential etc. but i cant believe how self important & hypocritical some of you are.
