Speaking as a former Honda BOI that has since learned the error of his ways... My first mods on my bugeye were a TBE and Blitz SUS Intake. Everytime I'd pull off the freeway, the car would shutoff on the offramp. I took the CAI off again and it wouldn't shutdown on offramps anymore. The ECU didn't seem to be compensating properly for me, but maybe I'm just special (-ed)... Since then I've dropped the intake, obtained some proper engine management and dyno-tuning and been happy ever since.

I say pass up the modded black one and find a virgin WRX you can de-flower yourself. Less chance for surpise down the road. My $.02.

That yellow bug eye was (I think he sold it) one of the finance guys. He kinda sucks - total PITA to buy from.

I don't remember if he was the one giving me grief cause I would not buy any of the fancy add-ons like paint sealant or extended warranty

He did the same to me. He got a little pissed when I said "the only way to protect the paint on a Subaru is to not drive it".

I told him right when I walked in that I wanted gap insurance and to sign the paperwork and that was it. No extra ****.

He still tried to sell all of it to me.
