I'm skeptical and here's why: the maker claims that this device causes vapor pressure to increase. What vapor pressure? Gasoline is a liquid and must remain so for the fuel injectors to work as designed. Also by design, one reason why the fuel pump output pressure is so much higher than the fuel volume requirement for an engine is because pressure in the line raises the boiling point of gasoline (or any liquid, for that matter) and ensures that a fuel system does not suffer vapor lock in hot weather, which was an occasional problem with carbureted engines.

I have serious doubts even with numerous positive testimonials because you can also find folks that swear by the Tornado Fuel Saver, Slick 50, and gasoline energy pills. Buyer beware!

Actually, assuming that it actualy does increase the fuel's vapor pressure, it could help. Here's why, sort of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vapor_pressure

Vapor pressure is the "desire" of a liquid to evaporate. It's how much pressure has to develop in whatever space is occupying the container with the liquid before the liquid completely stops evaporating and reaches equilibrium. A higher vapor pressure means the liquid more readily vaporizes, and that's exactly what you need gasoline to do when it's injected into the manifold. Fuel must be a vapor mixed with gaseous oxygen to combust, or at least to combust most efficiently. But your right, vapor lock *could* be an issue, as well as volatility. And if the vapor pressue is high enough, you could have the last 10% of the fuel in your tank magically dry up and disappear when it's hot.

Wee!! I'm going to attach those things ALL over my car in that case. That site doesn't even REALLY say what that thing is and how it works, that's what makes me wary.

It's getting bad though. I'm having a hard time seeing through the windshield when the sun hits it and the dust on the radio face makes it so I can't read the numbers half the damn time

I think I need a day off.

Yesterday I told a guy he shouldn't be employed here since he didn't know how to do his job. Now I just told a project manager he'd better find a way to pay for an engineers travel costs because I couldn't get this latest project done without the engineer.

I gotta watch it.
