tv wall mount

does anyone know how to install one in the 916? I don't feel like getting ripped off by geeksquad haha. obviously will pay for your time...

Vladi nailed it. It's pretty easy. You can also get the 100lb drywall anchors (huge steel mother ****ers) and use those if you can't fund a stud. Hadto do that for mine on one side and it worked great.

thanks for the heads up guize. unfortunatly, i am soooo not inclined to do such labor... i'm not that bad of a pansy, i just firmly believe in allowing people who are qualified to do good work lol... i'll look up some of the info mentioned here, and look for some more DIY stuff...

04cali, do you do work in sacramento?

No I don't, but my sister does and I'm in sac every Monday or Tuesday because I have to go to my house in tahoe on my days off, I can swing by your house and mount the tv in my way up, I can also get u a wall mount if u need it for a good price... Let me know

you coming up this monday/tuesday? if yes please pm me a general price of an install with/without your mount... the tv is a 50 inch plasma, weighs about 100 pounds... would like a swivel and tilt mount, and would also like to know if it would be possible to run the wires through the wall so they are not visible (run teh wires straigjht down from the tv, maybe 3 feet or so...)

if it's just screwing the damn thing to the wall, find studs and screw in to them.
