So windows 10 will take some time to get used to, and it does indeed seem a little glitchy.

That's windows 8.1. Windows 10 out of the box is set up as a standard desktop environment with a start button and task bar. The only place metro shows up is in the start menu (where I think it works well), and if you go to tablet mode.
