here you go

this is the plug that connects the headlight to the harness, and as far as I know, it's the same plug for hid and non-hid.

the hid version then goes to the ballast and then the bulb, vs halogen goes to the bulb, but the connector to the chassis wiring is the same. as far as I know (and the discussion we're having)

nope. same wires. just hid they go to ballast then bulb and halogen they go straight to bulb

there ARE 2 extra plugs on the HID models but they are separate, and go to the leveling motors. so if you're not retaining those, as far as I understand, it's pnp

the reason I ask is because the plastic lenses on my STi headlights are hazing up. and not just on the outside, because I had them polished and the outside is very shiny/clear but deep inside they're still yellow. the housings are in perfect condition. so either I replace with halogens, or buy halogens and bake both and swap lenses, or pony up $750!!! (each!! insane) price for a replacement set of HID's from fubawu.

I wish you could just buy replacement lenses.

750 for the pair? That's not to terrible for HID. NB2 lights are nearly $900 for the pair last time I looked.

That's more reasonable. Still super expensive but a lot better than the 750 the site quoted lol
