Apparently there was an officer involved shooting last night in Citrus Heights.
Suspect shot, killed by Citrus Heights police
Didn't think much of the police flying by until the 6th & 7th one flying down the road, then I heard the helicopter flying around not to far away, then looked up farther and saw the CHP plane circling. A few minutes later I saw two Roseville PD units go by.
I was hoping there wasn't going to be any chases nearby because we weren't too far away and I was in the middle of roasting a tri-tip. Turned out amazing. The food that is. The guy in the story pistol whipped his wife then shot at cops only to get killed in return fire. Ironic part is, from listening to the radio scanner, the return fire was from a female cop.
