HAHAHA Yeah, I keep the KY on hand for every pay check and let Uncle Sam take advantage that way I get a check at the end of the year. Hurray for returns only a few more months.

HAHAHAHA I've been tempted to pull some sneaky business. The Army gives 100% payback on student loans and since I am eligable I was thinking about talking them out and then claiming the interest on the loans on my taxes even though I wouldn't be paying it. Is that illegal? It is interest and the loans would be in my name.

Theoretically it would work. I've read over the form and nowhere does it say "do you have any loans which were paid off for you but interest was present?". I could at least pull of a technicality. I'd like to finally pull one over on the gov't. Just once and I'll be happy.

As long as the Army doesn't report the income you get from reimbursement you might be able to pull it off.

I don't know. If I get enough of a write-off I'll try it. Worst case scenario I'll have to explain it to an IRS agent and even then they'll probably just make me give it back. I love getting tax money back. It's so gratifying.
