Tires needed in Roseville

Hello gents (and the one or two ladies that might read this). I'm new to the area, yet another transplant from the Bay, and in search of a haflway decent tire shop.

I read Egan's thread regarding the craptasticness of America's Tires.

Does anyone have a decent place in mind (preferably in the Roseville area) that can throw two tires onto my poor WRX? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Welkommen!

I'd usually recommend America's Tire Store, but Egan had some difficulties there the other day; he brought in 4 tires, that he bought from The Tire Rack, and ATS wanted to do him Prison-style.
Do you already have the tires, or, are you gonna buy 2 tires at a store?
Oh, and I have to ask...why just 2 tires?

Thanks for the reccomendation Egan.

Oaf, I need to purchase the two tires, don't have 'em yet. I grew tired of dealing with tire shops giving me grief about buying from Tire Rack and jacking the mount and balance price up because of that. So now I just buy the tires from whichever shop I trust enough to handle mount and balance. It ends up being a 10 dollar difference for me (due to the aformentioned mounting fee increase.)

As for the two tires only, it's the schedule I'm on right now. A couple years back, I needed two new front tires, so I decided to buy just two new fronts. When my rears wore out next I purchased two new tires and swapped the rims that were on the rear to the front with the new tires and moved the slightly more used fronts to the rear. The logic being, less tread equals a slightly higher tendency for the car to oversteer when I throw the car into a turn correctly. I like slipping around a bit every now and then. Now it works out to be easier breaking up the cost of tires or me as well since I'm back in school and not making as much as I used to.

Anyway, there's my long winded reasoning. Hehe Thanks for responding and the welcome.
