If you can;t see something poking the tire (nail), A lot of times, a slow leak like that is coming from around the valve stem, you may have a small crack in the stem or a bad seat to the wheel or something, in which case the repair will simply cost you a mount/dismount/ balance...so, like $20 .

poo, but what if the tire failed before the date listed for the mileage the tires are supposed to last till. I wonder if they'd fall for that?

I be like "Hey my tires are all bald and I've only had them for 8,000 miles. I don't know what happened, I just use them for daily driving."

You have to do it without giggling, Deede.
Since you can't order dinner without giggling, the chances of you pulling this off are slim and none

Good point. I'll have to practice this one, or take some drugs to level me out. Then I could do it, at least once. I have the perfect company to try it out on. If it works thats two sets of azenis sports for $750, with installation and warranty. Geniuous.

For two reasons
1. I can't hold a straight face
2. I can't pay attention long enough.

Are you going to see the mentally challenged guy at Tires Plus? If so, give him a good hard kick in the sack for me.

Wanna talk about mentally challenged people? I had a support person at one of our vendors today ask me how to spell "Linux".

I nearly died.

yeah, so the retarded guy there...

Matt: Hi, I need this nail pulled out of my tire and a patch done. (tire and rim loose, off car mind you)
Idiot: Ok, that will be 16$, you can come back in an hour.
Matt: Ok, see you at 9 AM.
return at 9:30
Idiot: Your tire's not ready, it will be 20 minutes. ( I see the tech pulling the valve stems.)
wait 20 minutes
Idiot: Heres your tire..., and it will be $40, due to an oversized 17" rim, we have to use a different machine.
Matt: Bull****. You said $16
idiot: $40
Matt: Well, you have two choices, I give you $16, take my wheel and tire and go. Or., pay you $0, walk out to the shop, and see if you can stop me from leaving with my tire and wheel. You just let me know.
That's why I go to Big -O
