Have you guys noticed how many are for sale with new engines?

ROFLECAKES!!

Seriously, on here, on cl, on nabsico, everywhere. 9/10 of wrx's/sti's have a "new OEM xxBlock installed......xx miles ago"

it's seriously sad how bad these engines are getting.

Which is why Chris should have bought another Miata.

Most catastrophic problem we ever had on ZX2s was launching a rod out the side of the block.

Whyyyyyyy? Something you're not telling us about some forthcoming expenditure? A new addition to the family perhaps...?

No changes in the family. Honestly I'm just sort of done with the Legacy. Short of spending $3000+ I'm not going to see much more power from it, and even then it'd probably cause me to need a new motor. I'm just ready to do something different after 5 years of ownership. Car is paid for and worth a good amount of money as it sits, which would open me to a few different opportunities car wise.

I like the idea of a Vette, but not sure I want a C5 because the interior is ****. I don't want to afford a C6.

I'm actually thinking about getting something more useful like a truck or SUV for towing.

As for the Miata I still haven't had time to try to resolve the damned water pump issue. Not sure I want to throw money at it for going fast when there's no good way to make it fast and smog legal.
