I still haven't figured out the giant TV fetish. Our 36" is just fine. HDTV is cool, but it isn't on my list of must-haves. And this is coming from somewhat of an AV geek, as I used to sell and install home theater setups.

Of course, if money wasn't an issue I'm sure I'd have the biggest f'ing TV that I could find.

that tv weighs to fkn much. there are reasons why flat panal is popular

I've noticed a night and day difference between standard and hi-def...how can you not want hi-def??!! Methinks you been hanging with Mr. Furley too much...

Don't forget to buy a footbal stadium to put it in, so you can sit far enough away to actually see what's on, instead of the ham-sized pixels.

I do want hi-def. But I don't watch enough TV right now to justify the equipment and subscription costs. It's cool, I've seen it, the picture is great. I just don't do a whole lot of TV watching.

im in the same boat, i watch like 3 hrs of tv a week, im just simply not home enough.. HD is badazz tho

I read over-the-air hi-def is better than cable/satellite (something to do with the compression), plus it's free, yo.
