its still not useless when you are moving, because it can obviously cool the air in the intercooler a hell of alot better then just normal outside air... There will DEFINATELY still be power gains

The airflow over the intercooler when you are moving would be enough to just blow the CO2 straight through the fins and the cooling will be very minimal. Is that 2hp gain you might get worth the cost of the system and bottle fill ups?
Besides I can go out and beat the **** out of my car, pop the hood and the intercooler will be cool to the touch from the airflow. Sitting at a light or parking will heat soak the IC but less than a mile of driving and the IC will be cooled off again...

I'm wondering if Wally World can fill it, just need to find a place that can fill paint ball guns and im set. Like I said I will be doing some drag racing, but for my clutches sake not a WHOLLLE lot. Its also just another fun toy to mess around with
I'll give you the fun factor. I have heard one of those fire off before and the noise and "fog" would be enough to scare the shi...crap out of people near by.
When it is installed, take a video camera out and get some shots of Sally Soccermom in her H2 next to you at a light when you hit the fire button and she hears the pressure release and sees the fog coming out of your hood scoop...

Plus, it takes someone who knows what they are doing to properly fill that tank. Not saying that its unsafe, but if you have some jackass that will just try to dump the 10 lbs of CO2 into that tank, you will only get it half filled.
I think I calculated it out before and N2O was cheaper then the CO2
its about $35 (last time I checked) to fill it with N2O, and about $5 per 20oz for CO2, so that comes out to be about $40 for the 10 lbs tank

Damn then I guess I will be making a run up to tognotti's those guys fill bottles up all day long, so I will probably get alot better fill from them then some 16 year old kid working at a random paintball shop looking at me like "Holly **** how many paintballs do you wanna shoot with that thing"
DZ: Also it will look a little funnier too because I have a Perrin Front mount, so smoke will just start coming from the front of my car. She will probably think my Radiator exploded or something... And I will tell you in a little bit exactly how many uses it is. I was wondering the same thing actually. I heard it still lasts awhile.

I may have to contact Ali G and have him make a special candy award now that I have been reminded that you have a front mount...

well, here is the other problem.
you will need to go liquid with the CO2 to get any kind of cooling effect.. I don't *think* that has to happem with N2O, so that would calculate to more use out of the N2O then CO2 as well

Ya you have to use Liquid CO2 for it to work, I read somewhere that nitrous is 15 degrees colder then Liquid CO2, so Nitrous will work better then CO2 anyways, I guess its trips to tognotti's i go once i take a nap and then install this kit... Looks like a pretty painless install... Gunna take longer to mount my ricer buttons then to do anything else lol.
