That's awesome. I grabbed a few things that might sell out soon, and plan on going back when it goes lower. Supposedly they'll get desperate towards the end of this month.

So I just got off the phone with a recruiter.

Her: Hi, this is ***** McGee from tekGenericIQSystems and IT Solutions and I'd like to speak with Nick Koan.
Me: Speaking.
Her: Hi, this is ***** McGee. Oh wait, I already said that, didn't I?
Me: Yeah, can I help you?
Her: I'm looking at your resume, or the paragraph of text that is passing for a resume, and I'd like to introduce you to a company, but I can't do it with only this paragraph.
Me: What website are you on?
Her: Dice
Me: Well, I just looked at my resume yesterday on Dice. Its definitely up there. You need to click the resume button of my profile.
Her: Well, could you forward me a copy...
Me: You know what, I don't really want to work with you right now. Thanks.

I'm seeing Jack trying too hard

Sure, a cone filter doesn't do much, but the guy decided on a mod, and then made a bracket to stabilize his setup. I've certainly seen much worse.

I agree his setup ain't right, but it looks like he's trying to play around and see what fits. Unlike a turbo car, he's not going to kill the motor by monkeying around with the intake a little bit, so it's harmless.

I must be getting old, I don't get this whole "have to own people in the face" thing.
