Oh and from yesterday, I like the idea of Paul charging less if you buy the parts through him. I like things that make sense. I mentioned it because that was another way of saying it, and because I liked it.

HP customer service sucks too. I had an HP all in one die on me one night while trying to print out somthing for my class the next day. I contacted customer service and they had never heard of the error message before I had to go buy another one the next morning...got another HP for some reason

I rarely call tech support for anything. I google the error and try to find the fix. Almost always I find the fix, or the info I need to know the thing is hosed up. Tech support people that you reach at level 1 at the big companies like HP, Compaq, ASUS (if you can even reach one), Cisco (those guys are jerks with small penises, I hear), etc, don't know jack.

So far mine has been good. I has a 6310 (I think that's the model). Prints reliably and good, fax machine has worked flawless, scanner is good quality and fairly quick, copies are good, etc.

The only thing I hate about HP is that their "drivers" are so ****ing bloated it's not even funny. It took me quite a while to get the install without all the extra **** and disable all the lame monitors it comes with

haha, I called tech support for comast once, and while I was on hold I googled the problem, and found a solution right as the tech guy came back on the line. I read the solution word for word as the guy told me the solution...hahaha
