So I was just talking to someone about Prop 8 and they asked if I voted No, which I did. As we talked about it, one of the arguments the guy made as the reason he voted for Prop 8 is because girls who are homosexual are that way because they were molested and abused as children, so he didn't want his children learning about homosexuals in school because they'd learn about being molested.

I just looked at him like ............

I voted yes just to **** off the "no on 8" people. Then I would tell the "Yes on 8" people that I voted no.

It doesn't **** me off. It was like I told him - the way I feel about it is that it's fine with me for them to be how they want, it's just not for me. Same thing with religion.

yeah thats my whole argument with this "gay marriage" thing. If they want to get married, that needs to be up to a church, the state should not recognize a gay marriage, or for that fact, any marriage at all. All the state should care about is a "civil union" and keep the term "marriage" out of the state.
