A sheriff in Cupertino somehow lost control of his car on Sunday. They think he fell asleep. Whatever the cause, he ended up crossing in to the opposite lane, over the shoulder and in to a ditch. On the shoulder, just where his car went, happened to be three cyclists: One guy who was an elite cat 4 racer, a woman who was working to be on the US Olympic cycling team and another racer. The first two died, the second guy just got a lot of his body broken.
