so some girl that I havent had a real conversation with probably since sophomore year or early junior year of high school called me today. I think when I did talk to her she rarely initiated a conversation. Shes one of those "oh, a guy likes me and I like the attention, I'll string him along for a while" girls. Needless to say I don't care about talking to her anymore and I've been with my girlfriend for over a year and a half. Anyways, I was at home, where I only get one bar of reception in one spot so I texted her and she said she "called just to say hi"

In other news - Exxon Mobile posted a $10 Billion profit for this QUARTER. The second highest profit EVER reported by a publicly traded US company.

eh, well, the gasoline market is all done in "futures" as I understand it. The oil companies purchased oil years ago at a set price and as the price of oil has increased so has their profits. The gas prices keep going up becuase future prices for oil continue to rise, meaning they're having to pay higher fixed prices for oil for the years to come, even if prices go on the decline.

It just sucks because we're sitting here seeing those guys sitting fat, making TONS of money while we're getting owned at the pump. It sucks.

 

the critical part of this story is that the clerk was CLEARLY a dyke. i mean, you could tell from a mile away that shes a carpet muncher. so when John was going to call me gay, he caught himself with a hesitant "not......straight....." and it HELLA pissed her off.
