I rolled them just to be safe, but they fit without any problems. I thought I was going to have some issues on the inside, but after getting the car aligned I still had about 5mm clearance between the strut and the tire.

 

You should have seen all the rubber being scrubbed off thoes 255 and flying into my window and FM.

I think some of the cars out there get pissed that a wagon is killing them in the turns and keeping up or passing them on the straights. I'm sure some of it is just car in front getting tired or just not pushing as hard. In a real "race" type deal I'm sure I'd get smoked for the most part. I'll have to check some of my lap times on video. I'll try and get that thing up asap but pretty busy this weekend.

No worries. I think I killed more bugs than rubber. It was on the track mostly and not on the drive home.

 

You're lucky - for the first 5 or 6 miles out of Willows all I heard was rubber marbles flying off the tires and hitting the inside of the fenders.

But yes, the bugs were ridiculous. I had a clean windshield when we left the Chevron and Willows and by the time I got into Sac I could barely see out of the windshield.
