Thought i would share my new girlfriend...

Yeah i just got her yesterday! Pretty damn excited!

O yeah and right after i clean her this bugga decides to run into me!

I have to say this STI is so much of an improvment over my WRX. The torque is so well spread through every gear. My WRX alwyas felt like it bogged down after each shift and would take about 3k RPMS to kick in. But not the STI kicks right in! Let alone i am so happy i went with the 05 and spent a little more money then compromise and get the 04. The interior is so much better, and a lot better looking. Anyway just thought i would share.

Well since i need to retain the factory warranty i figured i would make it a track monster. Sways, Coilovers, ALK, Shift Bushings, Strut bars, Cage the underside, and a whole lot more. Also Might add the spt exhaust and throw a AP on it, since i can flash it back to stock when i go in to get service done.

They were asking just over 28k and i got it for just over 27k. I threw down 22k so i used that against them and played into that. Also Carmax sells on volume so if a car sits for a certain amount of time on the lot and doent sell then they send it to another carmax to see if it will sell there. And the STI had been sitting there for too long so they were about to send it to the next car max. So i used that to my advantage as well, and convinced them that it would be worth it to bend a little to make the sale, cause otherwise they were going to lose the sale to another carmax, and the dude talked to some manager and they said they would give it to me for the "asking price" and he keyed in just over 27k.

I guess i was just lucky, that they were about to lose the car and were wanting the sale bad enough, and my credit was good, and my downpayment was good.
