Just you and Josie? That sounds about right.

Why the return to stock?

It's too stiff. She hates riding in the car and won't let us take the car on trips longer than to the store and back. I like em - they're a bit stiff if you're on our ****ty freeways on a cold day, but they certainly work very well. They were more comfortable on my sedan.

I'm not sure what I'll do next though. I got the goahead to buy some Teins if I can get em for about $900-$1000 (used obviously) but I don't think I feel like spending that kind of money. I'm thinking of getting some Eibach springs (to get the car as low as I'd like) and then buying some AGXs later this year or something. I really loved the way my sedan drove and handled when I had the STI pink springs, but they keep the car too high (especially on the wagon) so I don't want them again. I dunno what I'll do.

It looked really good, but if it's riding that bad I don't blame you.

I love the way the car looks with them. And it's really not that bad, I just spend most of my time in traffic and don't need something that stiff to go 8mph on hwy 50 .

The word "ginormous" comes to mind.

I wish she was in my Xmas stocking.

On a different note, I know what you mean about the ladies not wanting to ride in the car. The AGX's and Prodrives that you guys recommended for me are working pretty well for my '04 wagon.

I've been asking folks for advice on coilovers, as I'm tempted to look at them for the track days. But, I can barely get my girlfriend to ride in the wagon even with the current setup. And, between the noises I hear many of the coilover setups make, plus the bumps I'd have to endure on our crappy freeways, I'm not sure if they're worth it for a few track days a year.

Plus, I just spent more coin to get a VF34, pinks, Walbro & a TVR front BBK, plus what it will cost for installation and a retune.

So, I should just be happy with what I've got for awhile. Still, I'm tempted to buy some and then file for bankruptcy.
