So I'm at the 'rents house in SoCal, popping Tylenol and nursing a fat lump on the back of my head (the trip was pre-planned, the lump on my head wasn't).


After my last post yesterday, the service manager rounded-up all the detailers/porters and announced that if the guy that chucked the projectile at my head were to come forward within the next 24hrs, he would simply be sent home for a day without pay. If after the 24hrs he found out who did it, the guy would be fired on the spot.

Since I had a plane to catch, and I didn't want a concussion to sneak-up on me while I drove home, I said "Later" and split. This morning, I get a voicemail from my boss saying that the guy confessed to the service manager, and was sent home for the day. My boss didn't tell me who it was, or what the guy threw at me (or why), but I suppose they'll fill me in with the details when I get back on Tuesday.

 

was that failed joke played on you or was someone actually assaulting you or will you know that on tuesday?

 

The projectile was intended for someone else, but that guy saw it coming and ducked. I had my back to the action and never knew what hit me.

 

thats some pretty jewish(no offense to anyone) non sense right there.. musta been a pretty heavy or bulky "projectile" to knock you out cold.. any idea what it couldve been?
