Yeah. When it comes to jacks, I wouldn't cheap out with the HF ones. Wrenches, Cordless Impact Guns, and stuff on the other hand...

Revenge of the Schwartz

By Bill Beyrer: 2004-09-28

Whilst giving an interview with Playbill magazine about the film adaptation of his massively successful Broadway musical “The Producers” Mel Brooks shared some interesting information about his latest project:

Playbill: Will you have a role in it?

Brooks: It's doubtful, but I'm writing myself back into the Spaceballs sequel that I'm now writing, so you haven't seen the last of my face. Why another Spaceballs? It wouldn't feel right have anyone else play Yoghurt and the first one was the best experience I've had making a movie since Blazing Saddles.

Playbill: When can we expect that?

Brooks: Best Case Scenario: a week before the new Star Wars opens. Worst Case Scenario: a year after the new Star Wars opens.

So stay tuned for more developments as they arise...according to Mel Spaceballs II will hit theatres somewhere between May 2005 and May 2006. Maybe now all the news coming out for a new Scary Movie, hopefully this will kill that project as the Return of the Spoof King makes his way back to the silver screen. All hail President Skroob, death to Zucker/Wayans bastardizations!
