gar, no one's answering my question in the tech section, hope you guys don't mind if I post it in here...anyways, I have the factory underseat amp package in my car and I was wondering if a sparco seat with sparco sliders and brackets will still clear the amp. I'm waiting for my seat and the hardware, I should've asked fist but the price was really low on ebay.

depends on what sparco seat, what type of sliders, what style brackets (side or bottom mount) and the amp height.
i would think thats too general to answer w/o just getting them and testfitting.

but if they're in eghey and they're "really cheap" then they're prolly more than likely knockoffs.
just a warning.

the brackets are legit. cheap because there's a small bend which I'm going to bend back, and the seat was only like 20% off, so I'm confident it's 100% authentic. It's a sparco speed seat with sparco sliders and bottom brackets. I'm probably going to have to just test it out when the items arrive, I just thought maybe someone on here might have faced this dilema before.

one of my damn cats just upper-decked the litter box

it's one of those anti-dog types where they have to climb in through a hole in the top.

you should just teach it how to flush, but it does lack oposable thumbs. My cat just goes where ever it pleases, and to make matters worse, always uses the last of the TP.

i would get rid of my cats if they weren't box trained. i think we only had one "accident" with our cats, and that's because one of them got trapped behind the big-screen.

my cat was house trained for awhile, but then she went missing for a few days. We thought she was dead, but then out of nowhere she shows up. Now she's a little crazy, I think someone tortured her, really sad if you ask me.

cool.
yeah, unfortunately test fitting is the best way.
if its a reclining seat or fixed back bucket can make a big difference.
if the brackets are low, or allow the seat to sit below them, then you may run into issues w/ clearance.

good luck getting it to fit properly.
you could always relocate the sub to the seatback of the rear seats.

Angry Wtf!

Ok, so my Friday night sucked a**!

First, I was excited to go pick up my wagon at DBTuned after having a Cobb Accessport install and a Tein Flex install. I had a track day tomorrow planned at Thunderhill. It turns out I have a power steering fluid leak now. There goes my track day, as I don't want drivers behind me to go sailing off the track due to my leak (assuming the tech inspect might miss it). I called Thunderhill (supposedly open until 6 p.m.), but no answer. Watch my $225 go out the door if they don't credit me for another future event due to a "late cancellation". So much for driver improvement this weekend.

Then, I take it to Sears to have an alignment done after my Tein Flex's were installed by Paul . I ask them for -2 camber front, -1 rear. No problem, they say.
Soooo, 3 hours later, after watching the WB channel, the ONLY channel they have on the set, and poor reception at that, they can only get the front left to -2.0, the right to only -1.4, so they leave them both at -1.4 and tell me to see "Hank" , the resident expert in the morning. They tell me that they should have told me to see Hank when I first requested the "out of spec" alignment. YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT 3 HOURS EARLIER!!!!!

Sooo, then I leave, knowing I've got to see Joe in the morning about the power steering fluid leak, and then "Hank" at noon to finish my alignment, and my EDFC that was just working as I drove up to Sears no longer works at all. Nada, no power to the box, nothing. I crawl back out of the car, and all they can tell me is they'll let "Hank" know. That kills my idea of at least a night drive on the Garden Highway to check out the dampener differences in my Teins. Here's hoping that Hank knows about both alignments and why my EDFC doesn't work all of a sudden.

Man, this blows! I know some have experienced worse when it comes to mechanical issues, but thanks for letting me vent (waah waah). Damn, instead of fast laps tomorrow I'll be sitting around looking for answers. Agh!

^^ sorry, dude

I had some camber weirdness when I put my wagon on the coilovers too. I never did do anything about it though. The best I could do with my drivers side was 0

What kind of power did the wagon put down? You happy with the extra kick from that VF34?

Paul still needs to play with it. He only got 216 whp and 223 torque on the Mustang today. He quit when he noticed the power steering fluid leak.
So, I'll bring it back next week once the other issues are resolved. I know I should get around 240-250 whp if I've read the other posts correctly.

You should have seen me acting the fool, calling Mike Daugherty Chevrolet today to see if I could rent a Vette for the track (of course, not revealing the track plans) when I thought the Suby wouldn't be ready. He had an ad under the yellow page rentals for Vette and Hummer rentals. So, I dialed them up and got the following reply:

"Sir, we no longer rent Vette's due to insurance issues." (Translated, "A number of our previous renters wrecked our Vettes and our rates went through the roof, not to mention the extreme maintenance that was often required upon the rental return."

Then, she asks, "Would you like to rent an H2?" The mental picture of an H2 at Thunderhill ended my brief flirtation with that idea. lol
