Teusday -OR- Ricky Vs JohnnyBoy - NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH!

I need to change out the tranny/diff fluid today. Definately not looking forward to it since i have to drop the front suspension and take off my strutbar and intercooler just to fill it up

I still have a full quart of Redline lightweight shockproof from the last time i changed it but now im about to try redline 75-90. What do you guys think about mixing 1 qt shockproof and 3 qt 75-90???

Yeah I'm dredding the day I have to do my tranny fluid (which I think is comming up soon.) I have a 4point front brace from GTSpec on my car and of course one of the bars is in the way of the tranny drain plug. I haven't tried to see if I could get a socket underneath it to do my fluid change....but we'll see when the time comes if I have to take off the damn brace or not.

I've tried the redline 75w90 before and liked it. I currently have schwepco (spelling?) in my tranny/rear diff and liked it a little better since it felt thicker and didn't feel like my gears were grinding or anything. I don't really know how to describe it other than I prefer when shifting that my tranny is smooth like when the fluid is cold you know?

I still don't understand why people **** and moan that a thread sucks and do nothing more than complain about it rather than trying to make it better

I hear DBTuned has a lift and a lightly drunk guy to do that kind of work at reasonable prices.

Are you unhappy with the lightweight shockproof? If so, why change things up? 75W90NS will seem thinner and less helpful to the synchros after the smurf guts.
