just got home from the suby dealer.
i walked away form this offer:
14k trade in for my car, sight-unseen, with a couple days for me to part it out.
500 over invoice on a 06 sti, blue with gold wheels.
4k downpayment.
7.9% APR
what you guys think? i can go back tomorrow and do it.
my dad would ****ing kill me if he came home from cancun and i had a new car though, hahaha.

Get one of those capital one 'blank checks' with a lower APR. Walk in there and make them beat the APR.
Tell them to make it even lower and you'll buy the extended warranty. Return in a week or two and get your money back on the warranty minus the two weeks you used.

eh.. I drove Evos and STis before I got mine
you can ring out an EVO better then an STi on the track( by a very small margin), but I think the day to day driving of the STi was a lot better.
I had the fun to drive a 04 EVO from here to the bay area a while ago.. would not care to do that again.
some of by beefs
1) gauge cluster was too small
2) seats were not that confortable (LOL IM FAT)
3) no cruse control (lasy bastard)
4) no 6 speed (MR now tho)
5) its a mitsubishi.. I danced with the devil once before, not again thank you
