In my experience if you are not a drifter then these tracks days are not that fun. There are a lot of spins (more than one in each session) and usually drifters pick up alot of dirt and bring it on track which makes it less fun for the grip guys. I think that a lot of times they also setup a skidpad in the paddock where people can desintegrate some rubber so that might be fun.

for all the hype, they sure don't take the extra evffort to make it "over the top" like everyone says...
for instance...
the menus...they're printed on 8.5x11 paper and glue sticked to the inside covers of nice menu jackets...mine even had a fat food stain on it...
the "live" flowers on the tables were that only in name. most were wilted and some were even brown and flat out DEAD!
the wine list cards on the table were printed on a home printer and hand cut out and folded in an awkward triangle tent that were mostly falling over and ragged.
the food selection wasn't huge and the dishes all had a similar theme, so there was not a large amount of variety.
the food we did get was good, not great and nothing spectacular like i've heard people rave, but i wasn't dogfood.
presentation was decent, but there were attentions to detail that were just flat out overlooked.
i think we only got decent service (once she came) cus my wife went to school w/ our waitress, cus they took almost a half hour to take our orders and i could see other tables around us looking around for their server or waiting extremely long for things...
just not done to the extent that it should for the reputation that place has.
i guess it cuts it for "upscale" in pville...but 90% of this crap wouldn't fly in SF or anywhere else that has real class or society...
