that reminds me, my manager said something incredibly stupid on Friday.

I need to redo an inventory list but I have to do it from scratch because the old list is incorrect. I said I was going to come in this weekend (even though I have the weekend off) but she said I couldn't. I asked why and she said they don't want to have to pay me extra, and I have to do it when I'm already working. I said "ok, but either way I'll be here two hours extra, its all the same whether its extra on Saturday, or extra on Wednesday." She said that somehow it wasn't the same, somehow 2 hours on Saturday is different than 2 hours on Wednesday Actually, it isn't the same, because if I came in on Saturday it'd be 2ish hours, Wednesday I already work 6 hours so if it takes longer than 2 hours, I'll get some overtime.

 

house sitting is so ****ing boring! I do wish I lived here though, its 3 blocks from Cannery Row, <5 minute drive to downtown Monterey, ~30 minute walk/~45 minute drunk stagger from downtown.
