Hello SRIC,
Drove from Portland to Sacramento last night with a 102 degree fever. All I remember is endless hours of the old Atari game "Night Driver" and waking up parked in my garage behind the wheel with the engine off but the stereo still going.
Is that bad?

I remember one other scary moment. Coming down from Mt. Shasta at like 4:30 AM and the Valentine 1 starts going bonkers as I round this bend, I get it out of cruise control and try to shake my trance and slow down (which I manage) and there is this CHP officer stopped on the right side of the road and on the left there is one of those "Divider Garbage Cans" you know the big yellow ones they use in construction zones, anyway it was on its side and covered in blood, right next to that was something like looked like a dead bear or maybe a deer. Nasty and scary...
