I am a cheap bastard and enjoy installing my parts. I wanted to double check to make sure I have everything I need before I start on Tues. The only thing holding me up is if I can use the old gaskets. The car only has 4.5K

yes, i understand that. i like to install my parts as well and do the majority or the time. but with something as important as a turbo swap on a brand new car. you should have someone that knows what they are doing do it. yes it will cost you more, but then you will be sure it will get done right, and not going into it blind and potentially **** up your car.

You need uppipe and downpipe gaskets. Make sure the oil drain out of the turbo sets into the hose correctly or you will have a puddle of oil when you start the car. Make sure you put the vacuum hoses on in the correct direction. You may have to burp the coolant system to get any air out.

Good morning SRiC. More wiring for me today. I sure am glad they finished putting the subroof on the garage last week as it kept the sun (and some of the heat) off of me all day yesterday.

Ya but just because you're in a rental doesn't mean you can't get a ticket.

It's "an HHR" just like "an STi."
