stoopid dmv...

my car had expired tags when i traded it in, mostly because the dmv is staffed by a bunch of retards who cannot enter an address correctly. so, my registration renewal did not make it to me in november. but they manage to track my **** down and get a new renewal bill with a big fat late fee to my house

doesn't really matter though since we took care of the late fee's etc... at the dealership when i traded that beeyotch in.

That's okay- the CA DMV sent me a late notice on my registration (because I never renewed it, since I had moved to another state). Which would have made sense. EXCEPT THEY MAILED IT TO MY NEVADA ADDRESS!!!!!1!!!1!! Hello, McFly!

I like the DMV. I just got a check for $152 from them from when I purchased the 2.5RS.

next time try paying for your tags online with credit. they have you enter your address and billing address online. easier and faster. took only 10 days to get my tags.

couple years back while stationed in IL i got a letter from the CHP saying i had to register my car with CA cause i had a Ca drivers licence. next day i went and got IL licence cause i'll be damned if i was gonna drive 2000 miles for tags I didn't want.

as it is i plan on getting my tags in order before i move back to Sac Town (Jan 28th) so hopefuly i'll be able to dodge CA DMV for a while.

I've never had the greatest luck with the DMV. For both renewals, when I had my integra, I sent in all the stuff that they requested for a renewal, but both times they sent me my new registration papers, but NO STICKERS!!! I had to go in, myself, both times to physically pick up my registration sticker. Couldn't tell me how many times I was pulled over because I didn't have a current sticker on my car. At least the officers were understanding about the DMV...

Talking damn the DMV

Here's what you do. Go to a local fish store and buy about 3 dollars worth of 20 cent goldfish. Fill the return bill envelope with them and drop it in the mail. If you are in Nevada that thing will smell down right scandalous by time it reaches them. The best part is that they paid for the postage to get it(even if it isn't prepaid buying a stamp would still be worth it). Now that you're out of state it doesn't make any difference and you have finally screwed the DMV. Mission accomplished.
