Stolen vehicle
Hope the mechanicals aren't badly damaged. While any good thief can probably get a car, perhaps it would be worthwhile to upgrade the alarm to something like a Viper with pager (or similar)? The guys on here probably have some good suggestions.

I know how you feel man, I am so paranoid because of theft and vandalism of my vehicles that I can't sleep at night, always constantly waking up because I think I hear a car outside. Glad to hear they recovered it. I just hope that your insurance company doesn't try to screw you over when it comes to interior repairs.

"someone actually stole my car!"...then went inside and called the CHP...they said they had already found it and an officer would come over and get a statement...
crappy thing was, i was supposed to leave for work at 3am that morning, but forgot to set the alarm on my celly, i went out to find it gone at 5 am...and by then the CHP had already found it...my wife's roommate said she herd it leave around 3:45am but thought it was me, since she knew i had slept on the couch and had to get up early...
i later found out it was an ex-g/f that had it stolen to "get back" at me....

nice, eh?! guess she had a copy of the key someplace and told the guy where the switch to turn off the alarm was.
