Hmm car was jacked right after motor swap was done. This may be a coincidence, but sure looks like someone knew that you got a brand you ZC motor in....but what do I know. Just seems a bit odd that some one went through all the trouble of pretty much towing a beat up civic out of the driveway just because.

i agree. but they might have driven by and saw the swap being done. i don't know. i wish i could help, but i'm not in the Sacto/Davis area.

i'm more afraid for my commuter car (civic hatch) than i am about my wrx sometimes. lame, but that's just how it is with hondas.

goodluck.

thats exactly what me and every1 says, sum1 mustve been keeping an eye on me and the progress we were making on the swap, there was a couple times where i drove around with no hood on when we 1st completed the swap, so that may have been it, other than that i have no clue, they absolutely mustve known because there IS no reason to steal a beat up ol beater car.. and just so i can get this straight.. im supposed to park the ol beater car with a motor swap in the garage so it wont get stolen, and leave the much nicer, much newer, and much more enjoyable wrx outside? haha what is this world coming to?

Man, are they stealing Subaru's out there as much as Honda/Acura? If they were I'd be pretty worried. Once again:

i completely agree. why buy a beater when your WRX will be subjugated to curb parking, right?

driving your swapped honda around without a hood is a BAD idea!

Glad to hear they found it, man. Hope it's relatively easy to put back together.

Talking

Are you on Nordman? If that's you, then I walked past you when you were talking to the Lady cop. I was the round brown dude pushing the baby stroller and walking the black dog.

You've got two i-clubbers within spitting distance of you.
