Hey guys good news!! As someone mentioned above the car was recovered! With a little dumb luck, one of my neighbors spotted the car at Arden Fair Mall and called the police. Luckily they were able to get there in time to catch the guy driving off. They chased him into an apartment complex behind the mall where he hopped out, fled on foot, and was then apprehended. Thank you to everyone who was on the look out, I really appreciate it.
The car was returned missing the roof rack and my ghetto little ipod player (never had a stereo when I owned it), and with one extra dent from where the cop tried to "convince" the thief out of the vehicle. The thieves also turned the boost way up on the MBC and managed to adjust my fuel cut defender to bypass fuel cut. Looking at the ODO it appeared they only drove it for 10-12 miles total. Based on the lack of damage to the car I am under the impression the thieves had a key. I got my exhaust worked on at a local muffler shop the monday before it was taken. I will be following up with the police to see if there is any connection between the guy they captured and the shop. If so, Ill update this thread with the name of the shop. Thanks again guys!

So I just got off the phone with one of the Officers who made the arrest. He said that the kid they arrested was 19yo and a tweaker. He seemed to think that he stole is just to drive around. The officer did not have any information ragarding the perp being connected to the muffler shop. However, based on the fact that they had access to my car key, my home address, knowledge of the boost control system and FCD, and the fact that the doors were locked and no windows were smashed when it was taken, my gut is telling me the shop is connected (most likely through an employee).
Because I dont have any proof yet, I wont blast the shop on a searchable forum. If anyone is interested in knowing the name of the muffler shop, PM me and ill gladly tell you. I will say that it is one that is recommended on here quite often.

Lol. Yea, the absense of the rack really changed the look of the vehicle... The rack was locked but the keys were in the center consol. . Guess I figured that if someone wanted the rack they would go straight for IT first.
