Yeah, but it doesn't hurt to dream.
Even if they water it down (and they will) its still a neat little FR coupe that should be plenty of fun if they build it right.

what im not clear on is why they are coming out with 3 versions of the same car? or are they not doing that? subaru brz, toyota ft86 and the scion frs..... i guess not all of these might not get "produced".... but is it gonna be like a g35 350z thing? same car just little things different here and there?

I'm REALLY interested in seeing which version the tuner community embraces more. My money's on the Subie unless Toyota pulls rank and makes their version slightly better to drive customers to Scion dealers.

ohhh ok thanks for clearing that up for me. well ya thats a very good point!! my money is on the subie as well as far as which appeals to the "tuner" community. toyota and their scion's dont really have a broad, or serious following like subaru. just a bunch of fwd wangstas lol. really gonna surprise me if they go for the frs. but yes, big factor is what they do different. cant wait!
