SPT Intake
I have one. For some reason many on this board are still stuck in the stock airbox frame of mind. It works very well. Both Ed and Mike were impressed with MAF voltages and idle even with huge injectors. C'mon it's OEM, warranty supported, carb cert. You can't go wrong. Just make sure you reset your ecu before firing it up after install.

Cool. I have also heard from a couple of people that it is a good intake. I also have heard it doesn't need to be tuned because like you said it is OEM, unlike most of the other open air intakes.
With the stock turbo you might not notice any seat of the pants difference. Some have reported more top end giddy up. You will certainly sound faster. The turbo whine and BPV sound awsome.

the reason some people are stuck on the "stock airbox" is that only STis seem to make more power with an aftermarket intake.
The stock STi runs a tad fat and the intake will lean it out. This is all out the window as soon as you reflash and tune your car.

OH EM GEEE... make sure you buy the right intake, I gained 47hp on my intake alone after a tune... Careful what you pick man, all intakes are different...

Oh I forgot, don't forget the heat shield, you have to puchase this separately.
