So many high school kids at my college today for "band camp". And such blank faces when I asked if they had any cool band camp stories.

The band kids have to carry their gear themselves as the move around the building, one kid with tuba and another with a chello walk by. "I bet you wish you took up the flute right about now" - "yeah, sometimes."
