ok so what would you guys do in this situation:
Say you were with your ex for 6 years and the two of you had gotten a dog together and had it from the day it was born. Had it together for 2 or 3 years before you split up. You had done everything for this dog, feeding it, going to the vet, paying most the bills for it ect..
Then the two of you break up.. You are nice enough to let your ex take the dog but still want to see it and have it over. Ex is a jerk and throws it in your face that they have the dog and you cant see it.
In two in a half years sense you have broken up you have gotten to see the dog maybe a dozen times and it stayed at your place for the weekend once...
Your ex has not been going to the vet on a reg basis like you did before.. dog seems to not be doin too well...
your ex calls you up and says you can come to the vet with us if you pay and ill try to pay you back later next month
so you go in and find out that there is $900 worth of crap that needs to be done... they want you to pay for half or a lot of it...not going to pay the full $900 today cuz its a lot but decide to split $400 today..
What would you guys do? Would you pay that much for a dog you get to see for a couple hrs every 3 or 4 months? Do you feel like your ex is just using you for the bill??
