so who's gonna take advantage of the GM discount on a 9-2X?

some friends were talking about it and the Saab's are elligable for the GM employee discount that they're running for the public...
that puts a 9-2X Aero at under $20K...
pretty good deal for a luxo'd over wrx...
unfortunately i'm not in the market for a turbo wagon right at the moment, but it would make for an interesting buy...somehting a little diff than the standard WRX for about the same or less.
just didn't know if anyone on here was considering one.
http://www.saabusa.com/ for ref.
okay it's time for me to go home...got to be back at 8:00am tomorrow.
the new job is fun...but i'm puttin in WORK!

The only thing that would make me forsake Ericdared81's services would be a 9-2X linear with cold weather package, leather, and HID.
Around $22k currently. Er, if I could afford a new car anyway.

any of the GM family qualifies...Saab, GMC, Pontiac, etc.....
the Saab site has a quick quote popup window that shows you the price after the GM emp discount.

Actually the majority of GM's cars get good mileage. They just aren't very good cars for the price, hence all the discounts. GM actually prices all of its vehicles high, then puts out big rebates when sales slow down. That's why there's always huge rebates on Chevys and stuff. Ford does it too, but not as much.

I stoped by the dealer off fulton, and this deal is on the table right from the get go. Good stuff, but all they had was a fully loaded $33k Aero... (sold 9 on saturday he said, but hey hes a salesman)
And I do believe that $6k is off of INVOICE rather than MSRP, which is awesome.

Well, they had a $7000 rebate on Aeros and $5500 on Linears until the "employee discount" thing started, so he should have been selling them all along.
