on the topic of sleep apnea, i have it pretty bad. i'm pretty sure it's because of my weight. i probably haven't slept more than 3 straight hours in a few years. i probably get a total of 6-7 hours of sleep a night, but it's not deep sleep and it's not constant. i know it affects my concentration, my motivation, how much stress i can take before getting irritated, etc... basically, it's effing me up and i know it, and it sucks. i will not take sleeping pills or other medications since all they do is mask the root cause.

i have a cpap machine with a humidifier, and it kind of sucks. i'm starting down a road that's somewhat more drastic but will rid me of the need for that stupid machine and will leave me much healthier.

 

What are you going to be doing there? EDS is right around the corner from our data center

 

oh, and our 4-runner got ****ing towed in roseville tonight. we were up there running some errands, and stopped in at our friends condo for maybe 15~20 minutes. there were no parking spots, it was pouring, we were feeling lazy, etc... we parked in a way that kind of blocked her truck in and put us in front of a dumpster. not really legal, but not blocking the driveways and not in a fire lane.

$265 and 2 hours later we tracked down our car and got it back. talk about an expensive mistake.

 

I lied because I wanted to go see the car before it got sold because it was good deal that would have gone fast. I'd be pissed because missing one day at work in 8 months when the store doesn't need me there for a 1-5 shift when the store hasn't gotten **** for business since another store in the area opened. I've done them a lot of favors and I expect them to atleast do one for me without throwing a fit.
