Good route but i believe you need to apprentice for a year or longer to go on your own. Do you speak another language? My wife works 10-20hrs a week (her own hours) for Google doing Japanese keyword relevance ****. Pays well for sitting on the couch... think $15-16hr.

if you want. the problem with comps is they won't take our upgrades as a factor. we've been appraised twice since the work was completed, and the highest increase was a piddly $10k over what we were appraised at before teh work was done.

frustrating to say the least.

Well were the upgrades merely replacing something you already had with something newer? Or were the upgrades of something that you never had before. That's the big thing appraisers look at. But yeah, probably wouldn't make too much sense to pull comps... you just need to wait this one out...
