On May 3rd on my way to work I got in to a little sammich (and not the kind Law is promising us). I was one stop light away from my work. Traffic was at a complete stop, I was behind a SUV and she started to roll forward as the light turn green, so I took my foot of the breaks and slowly started to roll forward, when in my rear view mirror, I see this Jeep going right in to me with tires screeching. I had just enough room to try to move my car as far right as I can, hoping to maybe squeeze out of the way, but the Jeep plowed right in to me, and pushed my car right in to the corner of the SUV in front of me. As we all pulled over to the side, this is when i realized that there was a 4th car that started it all. So the Buick (4TH car) didn't even braked, ran right in to the Jeep and lifted it up, pushing it right in to me and i got pushed in the the SUV in front of me. The guy in the Jeep is a fireman, so we had fire trucks and ambulant there in under 4 min, as well as the cops. Praised God no body was hurt, I am ok and so is my baby. My Subaru on the other hand took the worse of it all. It is currently at a shop, and we are praying that is it fixed able. I am not ready for a new car, and there is nothing out there that i like. Those of you that know Dave and myself, know that we have so many memories with it, that there is nothing out there that can replace it. So please keep your fingers crossed and send prayers (i know its just a car) but i really hope it can be fixed. ok i think im done with my book.

The car looks totaled to me though because that definitely looks like more than 50% of its value in damage

 

Glad you and the little on are okay, honestly way more important than anything else in this circumstance. Time for insurance to cut you a check and move onto something else.

Glad everyone is safe. 🙏🏼👼🏼 as for your Subie sorry to hear :,( . From the picture it looks like it's all body work that was damaged. I'd say it's fixable, if the insurance can't help you fix it. But with your own money it's fixable just buy new fender, hatch, rear bumper, headlight, taillight, etc.

got a quote back today its about 9k in damage, but it might go down. From the parts they need to order, it fix able. We just have to wait for insurance to say yes or no. Even though i work for subaru parts and can give parts at a good price, insurance looks at list price. So now we wait more.
