SMALL car transport to TX...N600
anyone know of a reasonable price to get the 600 out to TX?
i have a potential buyer, but the cheapest he can find to transport it is like $1,100, making the purchase price go down considerably. that is also with me getting it running before it leaves, and i just don't have the time to drain the fuel system, clean the carb and get it running right now.
it's so small i've got to think there is a better/cheaper way.
anyone know of a way/place/person that would do it for cheaper?
also, may need a transport from LA to Sac/Folsom once i get this sold.
if someone can help there too.

When would you need the transfer from LA to Sac? I'm here for two more weeks.
As far as the transport to TX, good luck finding something cheaper. When I was quoted to get my Legacy to CA from PA they said $2,500 - $3,000.

I dunno when i can pick up the car from SoCal, but if I can get this 600 moved quickly enough I can get the parts car up here.
the parts car drives and is in perfect shape, but it's just not registered...
i'm looking into getting a temp moving permit to get it up here.
the 600 is small enough to fit in the back of a full sized truck bed so I know it shouldn't be as much as a standard car.
i might look into strapping it to a pallet and shipping it truck freight for $400.

yeah, i'm thinking that renting a full sized p/u and loading it in the back would probably be the cheapest but the guy doesn't want to fly out to pick it up.
truck rental can't be more than a few hundred dollars and gas is prolly what $250-300?
so for ~$500-600 he could get it back there, but he's not interested in that since he works on an oil rig and is only mainland every other 28 days and understandably wants to spend that time w/ his family.
i'll figure it out one way or another.
maybe i'll drive it out for him and fly back.
