Getting on the freeway this morning.

Revs went up, car didn't accelerate.

 

sounds like it needs moar stickers

 

Certainly at least needs more stick.






At first, I thought, "Cool, 4-wheels spinning. Spinning is winning."




But later I realized, "Nah. That was probably just one wheel going ape****."

 

Are we sure it's not the clutch going out?

 

Were you stuck in a ditch?

 

I don't get stuck in ditches. I jump them.

Larry is the one who gets stuck.


I thought about clutch slip. But it was fully engaged. No reason to think it was slipping.

 

What happens if you're cruising the freeway at 70 MPH in 4th and then punch it WOT?

But 4th at 70 is kinda high/slow. I'd drop to 3rd for that.

I had TC off. I usually turn it off when it's wet. Otherwise it just goes nuts all the time and it's super annoying.

Pretty sure the clutch is fine.

 

of course you had TC off lol, I forgot you drive flat out 10/10 on your way to work

If I leave it on, it activates constantly and ****s with all the ****. It is seriously annoying.

So, I turn it off.


One wheel peel was the phrase I was looking for. One wheel peels make me sad.

Proper limited slip diffs are basically being phased out by most car makers for this junk
