IIRC, Nissan said they were gonna release it under the Nissan badge as just a GT-R, no Skyline, no Infiniti, no Z...just Nissan GT-R.
somehow they thought that would help brad recognition and keep the JDM land fans from having a riot for putting the Skyline on the same chassis as a Z.

Yeah, the Skyline isn't coming. and it never will. Mwa haha.

Though, the GT-R should be able to satisfy everyone.
