That, folks, is what happens when an independent supercar creator designs something in the 70s and doesn't get financed until the 80s.

I suspected that the link would lead to a Vector. That thing was hyped for a decade by its manufacturer. So many magazines gave it print coverage. It looks like it uses a small-block Chevy engine, judging by the look of the Corvette/Camaro-style intake Tuned Port Injection manifold.

thing looks aweful...but guess it's worth $10 to some collector someplace.
hahaha...see the 1 bid? didn't even reach the reserve...likely all it will get.

I really like the aircraft influence on the dash... it's too bad the stereo didn't get the same treatment with another LCD display and pushbuttons on the right half of the dash... that sony just looks aftermarket.
But I can understand... they tried to build the "best" car they could, and engineering their own audio system won't match anything that sony was selling in 199x.
Apparently, the car is not a regular "automatic". I read that it uses some jinky clutchless sequential 3-speed gearbox. The shifter is on the flat panel to the driver's left in that little box looking thing. I guess it can operate as an automatic, but can also be shifted. 'Course with only 3 gears, and a top speed of 218 mph, I don't think you'll be doing much shifting. lol
