Yeah, each key has an oled, so you can change the display on each key on the fly.
It was invented by Russians that were probably fed up with constantly changing between the roman alphabet and the Cyrillic alphabet. But, it also has other applications for visually mapping commands to the buttons in video games, photoshop or whatever so that the actual action is represented on the key.
I think its a sweet idea, but with the cost of oleds, I don't think its really worth $1k+
