yeah, my ex would always try to match gifts via monetary value. I kept saying "I don't care how much it costs, its the thought put into it that matters to me" but she'd always end up getting some material possession type gift for me

Same problem with my current wife. Not only must we spend the same amount of money but we also have to give the same number of gifts

Couldn't sleep. FREEZING cold. Don't have a fever though. House is at 70. I'm sitting here in sweats, wool socks, a hooded sweatshirt, a beanie, a hat and the hood is on.

And it's not working.

we wound up at red robin for dinner while doing some last minute christmas shopping.

i had the "royal". it was delicious. i've never had a burger with a fried egg before, but it worked.

we gots some grass fed free range ground beef from whole foods, some kaiser rolls, and some pepper jack cheese for tomorrow night. should be some yummie-ness coming off my grill.

The best burger I have had so far has got to be this burger I got from the Cheesecake Factory when I was in Hawaii... they called it the "Tons Of Fun" burger.
